Has anyone seen a console for a 40? Advertised, I mean. Mines to short. The console I mean....

ive got one that goes across the front at the top of the windscreen have never put it in my 40 due to having the rollcage in but its currently removed so i could put it in place and take some photo of it for you if your interested im also interested in selling it

i just ran a bit of angle iron down each side. (used the bolts that are above the doors) then put a bit of MDF the size i wanted. and another bit of angle iron down the back between the doors. (stops the middle from bowing)

Yeah, Ive got a console built from an old Rodeo side step. But its not deep enough. I use a CB,a uhf and a cd up there.The CB is a Uniden Grant, so its very long.
I could make another one as you described, but I thought I'd look around for a flash one first.See what they're worth.
I wouldnt mind a look at your console,PCman, when you get the time.

mine is just al piece made out of mdf and than covered in some leather /pvc cover cheap to make coupl of screws some glue & pop rivets , you can make it to your own spec that way put in a glove box as well & some speakers dont forget the metal l brackets :lol:
