Not very constructive.........
I've been using them for the last year in the 315/75/16 size.
As far as on road goes you couldn't find any better, great in the wet (Once had to brake hard and swerve around a car that went through a red light, it held it's line. If I had've hit it I would've killed the guy.....)
On rocks at 20psi they seem to do as well if not better than the others in our club.
In the mud they're not bad but have slipped sideways a couple of time in off cambour situations.
So it's up to you what is important to you. If you use them every day and what terrain you mainly drive on.
I'll consider buying another set after these.
John.

Just what the 4wd movement needs, more people ripping areas up so that another area gets lost to us.

G'day fella's
Im mainly after a 33 or 35 in tyre as I need them to get the revs down in my patrol, as it has a 350 in it and at 100km it does around 3300rpm, way to high...
So have brought a set of diffs off wanaberacer, 4.3 and with bigger tyres I should be able to get the revs down heaps...
After all that I will save for a t700 auto and go the whole hog and get the adapter and cruiser trans case....
I only want a cheap set of all terrain tyres,, they wont be for anything other than street cruising, but with the exseption of a weekend with the boat on and go fishing in some serious spots, 4x4 only areas,, So thats all I need em for...
Ohh doing donuts too,
Thanks,,lol

$1000 for new 35's is cheap.. dunno, maybe some people want charity..patrolman wrote:If i know my maths right and my calculator isnt lieing to me then 277x4= 1108 so in therory 1000 for 35's (i dont know how many) but its cheap![]()
and shipping is only from what others here have said $100ish from top to bottom states...
I dont have them. But after seeing others run them I dont think they are any better then other mud pattern tyres. But they arn't anyworse either.
Maybe being a directional tyre may cause problems I dont know.
But at the price listed above they arnt anymore expensive than other muddies either.
As last time I priced a new 35x12.5R15 MT/R they where $320 (which I thought was abit steep).

Wasn't really having a go at you..
One of my favorite camping spots, O'Tooles, Nth of the Thompson has been closed off because of D.H's ripping up the grass. Also Merringtons was severly damaged the week after we did a working bee there planting trees. I just get mad when I hear of people talking about this sort of stuff.
Agree that the X-Terrains aren't much better off-road than normal muddies. But on road they're brilliant.

Bogged
If they were new I would consider, but they arnt new,,,, There as new,, wich means they may have up to 5 -10k on them,,,, Now in that time, this piticular car is by far a standard car, how would I know there has been no side wall damage on gutters, rocks, etc,,,, how is the wheel alignment, tyre pressures been good from the start?????....all these types of Q's...
Now as there is $100 difference for me to buy A BRAND NEW SET I would go BRAND NEW.....Doesn't meen there the same tyre, just meens I can get a tyre for $277 x that by 4 and you have a result. Its piece of mind for me to go through a tyre dealer... Not saying I wouldn't buy a set of 2nd hand tyres just not this set,,, cool....
And if you do think there cheap, Please don't start up a tyre dealer, as you would most likley go broke, lol..... (JoKe)

sorry but i was looking at it from my point of view. I think if you want an all terrain & can afford em buy some coopers.
From looking at the x-terrain they look like they relly wouldn't work all that well as they are not open enough, just my 2 cents :D
