what are the scrutineers looking at/for?

any info greatly appreciated
cheers Jai

ive never been asked for engineers
they look for tyre inside guards/flares
extinguisher
red recovery points
tyre size
and for u to be honest about what class u r in...

This all stems back to legalities and insurance. We do not pretend to know all that would be required to know to engineer a vehicle. We have 'class verifiers' that will sight your papers which we interpret as being approved by someone 'cause you were able to get your vehicle registered. Being honest about your class is good but you will be checked at 'class verification' against what class you put your self in. The specs for the classes are fairly basic. The odd one will try to 'mis-lead' us but will only find himself or his team minus some points if caught out. Hope this helps

I'm pretty sure it is a vehicle pass, not a person pass...

Jamie

The entry pass is OK for 2 adults. Kids 16 and under are free. Extra adults are $20 each. If you tow your comp car up, it is not charged separately. If you have a pass and want your missus to come up in the family bus, it has to come in at the same time or it will be charged at the normal rate (ie $80.00) If you drive the comp car and family bus in, well, that is your 2 adults.

All the info you need is on the web site www.nissanpatrolclub.org If you have questions of this nature, e-mail trialssec@nissanpatrolclub.org and get the right answer, instead of guessing.

BTW, NO GLASS BOTTLES (THEY WILL BE CONFISCATED AT THE GATE) NO DOGS (THEY WILL BE SHOT AT THE GATE)

Correct. If you drive the comp car and the family bus in together, there is no extra charge (assuming the only adults are the drivers of the two cars). But if the comp car arrives nice and early in order to go through verification and the family bus comes in later, then the one without the pass pays.
