My gq has a vib as the convertor unlocks on light throttle loads, sounds like the convertor is NBG, anyone now someone decent in sydney?

i bought an additive from an auto transmission place, shudder fix or something it was called, fixed a similar problem in mine

I had a similar issue with mine. it ended up being the TPS .. basically when the gears changed it was too low in RPM, thus putting stress on the converter..


Take it into a good auto place for a service $100-200 and they will check it out completely and adjust it... its cheaper than $700-1000 I was quoted for TCoverter R&R yr or 2 ago.
