HTL01X, you say you have an engine driven air compressor aswell as your standard air con??

The compressor is mounted directly under the p/steering pump. The belt runs around the crank, p/steer and comp. The comp is fixed and the belt is adjusted with the original p/steer adjuster. I used a bracket off a mazda 626 cut down and bolted to adjuster bolt and spare bolt in engine mount.
I had to put a dent in the sump to clear inlet hose, shift p/steer pipes forward and bend the tin guard down about 10mm to squeeze it in there.
Hope this makes sense.

I bought my fittings from the local truck supplies place. I used hydrulic hose back to the tank which is mounted on the g/box crossmember. I think the comp fittings were 12 + 14mm, metric thread. Take your comp with you when you get them. The tank is about 5 or 6 litres i think. I just went to the truck wreckers and picked 1 out.

I already have a large tank and a small compressor.
I could save room under my rig if i use a smaller tank, currently about 20 litres.
Even running air tools would a small tank, around 5 litres be enough, i mean it is a hi volume pump so it should be fine...
Or would it just be better to keep a larger tank in there? the reason i went so large, is that i just fill it up from home before i head out. but to save room, for a second exhaust pipe, would a small tank off a hi volume compressor still be just as good?
