Easiest thing to do is call local windscreen dude and have him remove and refit it using a good windscreen sealer.
End of problem.
Otherwise you could get your own tube of windscreen sealer and have a go around the edges without removing the screen. Very ugly job though and may not work all that well.

Get used to it, everyone i know who has or had one complained of all the water and dust leaks, and dont bother going to l/r over it they will laugh and say what did you expect? value and quality for your 50k?

I read somewhere that the water leaks are a factory item cause LR don't know how to fix em... I know of someone who got a new car from LR after kick and yelling for months on end for them to fix it.......
for what it is worth....
Since i changed the door seal on driver and pass side on my rangie it also has started to leak but.... it's because i put the join in the rubbers up the top not the bottom... reason i did this was so the car wouldn't fill up with muddy water when wheelin... downside is when it rains the drivers side foot well fills up with water... (keeps the floor clean anyway)

No Tech here but a funny story anyway.
Years ago the Land Rover engineers went to japan to visit one of the "OTHER" car manufacturers. Just to see how they compared. They looked around the entire plant and were mildly impressed. Anyway when they got the the end of the production line they found a guy placing a cat inside the finished vehicle. The Land Rover Engineers were amazed at this and had to ask why it was done. The Japanese Engineer Explained that they lock the cat inside with all the windows up and come back in the morning and if the cat is dead then the car has no air leaks and has passed quality control.
The Rover Engineers then traveled back to there factory with a new plan for their Quality control. No way was a Japanese manufacturer going to beat them.
So they roll out the next defender Extreme and in goes the first cat for testing.
The car is then stored for 24hrs.
24 hrs goes by and the engineers are all excited to go and check there new quailty control system. But when they arrive at the Defender unfortunatly the Cat is..........................................
GONE

The other place that the water can cascade in is through the foam seal at the base of the windscreen surround against the bulkhead.
Remember... " A Landrover does not leak, we like to call it a CONTROLLED SWEAT."

Cats
Tony, I think having 3 Rovers is testament to this, but I think the guys at Solihull left the cats in on export and they hid until they got to my place and then escaped through one of the gaping chasms. I am sure that there must have been more than one in at least one of my Rovers because they must have reproduced on their honeymoon cruise to OZ. This would explain why I have got so many cats hanging around my yard. Might have to trap them and post pack them in bubble wrap back to our engineering friends at Solihull.
Leaks around the bulkhead as we all know are common but check the hinges and windscreen brackets, the bloody things always leak as does the lower windscreen frame seal. Quick fix for the seal is a smear of silicone and the hinge/ brackets, well remove them clean and refit with a bead of silicone.
If this fails buy some wellys or another car!
Signed: A man who's chased to many leaks!
Ps: You can keep the cats....

This weekend I went off roading in the Morton national park and went through some deep bog holes. Water pours in through the doors all over the floor........the rubber things around the door are not seals..........they're useless......mine leaks on my feet when in rains too.
Here is how to solve the problem:
1. Sell Defender
2. Buy Nissan Patrol.
Thats what I"m doing next year
