dual case crossmember question?
I am making a crossmember that bolts off the rear off the transfer case, tube with nissan rubber shock eyes on both ends. Need to know how much further back is the dualcase from standard. Just making the brackets to weld to the chassis & need the measurement as i dont have the adapter yet! Is the AA the same thickness or diffferent to the marlin?
does the horseshoe cross member have to be modified?

If you have a 4runner, which i know you dont, but someone else might, you do need to mod the horse shoe.

This with or without a CV?? I havn't got shafts to put on but it looks like it will fit on my 4runner with not mods to the horse shoe x-member!!
But I currently have my t/case at the standard height. You have raised your t/cases up right?? this is probably why you had to mod the x-member, Right??
Chris.
The measurments posted above sound right to me.
From what i have read about the dual cases in a 4runner if you run the D/line at stock hight without a double cardin joint there are no mods needed on the hourshoe but if you lift the driveline or add a D/C joint you need to remove it or atlest notch it.
