Hi everyone, just finished installing a small fridge in the centre console of my car. It fits in perfectly and looks factory apart from the beige colour. I have wired it up so that no wires are exposed. Just flick a swith and she's on, hot or cold. I would really recommend this for people, especially over summer. It is easy to pull out as well.
It fits about 8 cans
Probably will be useful for just a weekend away when the big fridge isn't needed.
Cheers
Rob
Sorry about the pic quality it was taken from my phone

I brought a similar looking thing from DSE (dicksmiths) for $30 on special (think normal price is around $50) hold approx 9cans. They only cool to about 20-30c below ambient. But do work well in vic when it is below 30c most of the time. I have an AM CB on the back of my centerconsole. But it leavs just enough room to jam it between the CB and where the floor starts to rise on a SWB. Great for day trips and taking tea to work (I live an hour from there so keeping it cool is a good idea). It also works as a warmer. Havnt used it for this, But I think it would be great for keeping Hot food, hot (pies from the bakery).
