Hey Dudes,
I've a 92td Rocky. Lately my gearbox has been clunking when neutral is selected and clutch disengauged (foot removed from clutch pedal) Put your foot on the pedal again and noise starts again. Bearing?

Ours was making the same noises so when we did the rear main we changed the clutch and throw out bearing etc.....
All fixed!!!
It was great, we didn't even have to do it, a mechanic mate did it all for us, all we had to do was pay for parts!!! After doin my brothers rocky - that gearbox was real heavy - I didn't plan on doin it again.
if your talking about the physical weight of g'box then yes i know that feeling this would explain why rockies are twice the kerb weight of zooks coz they are bulletproof and strong
