Lux questions about mods

Post by 2HI4U »

Just curious, whats the best flex u can get on a 1985 lux for cheap. Possible ideas so far are 2 body, 2 spring lift and extended shackles and 33's tyres, just wondering is this mod good for fair sort of flex. Ideas appreciated. My aim is to go widish, but keep the height and hnece COG down. cheers

Can you still get fair flex, with the mods suggested above, without going IFS spring and so on. I understand the IFS gives you longer leaves to flex, but would original hilux springs, or 2inch suspension kits do the job?. Is it recommended to get brand new leaf springs kits or not? If so, is another option taking out leafs, to get more flex?
