1981 Cherokee on the Gold Coast

Post by Fishin' Dave »

In my search for a doner car for my J200, I found a 1981 Cherokee.
Has new lifted suspention and good 31 x 10.5 tyres, power steer, air etc.
Alloy roof rack and front bar, solid tow bar and is on gas.
A few old rust repairs are breaking out and the V8 looks a bit oily but it's all there, registered an running.
Has auto, FWH (not Quadratrack).
He's asking $2000 but I think he might drop a bit.

I was considering it for myself but there just isn't enough bits that I can use to make it whorthwhile.
I need power steering, some door parts, air con, heater etc etc.
I might consider going halves with anyone who wanted the drive train, diffs etc and I pull what I want????

It's at Labradore on the Gold Coast and listed in the Brisbane edition of the Personal Trading Post at $2200 if anyone is looking for one.
