Shute had a broken rear Detroit, but he drove it really well. Got through the first section steps, through a good bog hole that stopped about half of the trucks that I saw which was awsome, up through x-up rock/log steps and then spun it on a boulder pile where he got diffed. Show over there, but a really good drive considering I thought.

it was a factory rear difflock but it wouldnt stay in due to something buggered in it and they didn't have time to fix it.
he had a front detroit though.

thanks for that slunnie

Ah the CV did go did it. I heard it pop, but it looked like drive was still going through Then again I was spectating on the RHS.
The rear diff was definately out well before the rock pile. It must have come out in the mud hole because it definately wasn't in between that and the rock pile. I reckon thats the reason why it wouldn't drive the rock pile also.

What am awsome day, I'll have some video up as soon as I have the footage. I am currently hasing all the other club members who have photos for the club magazine (deadline in this wednesday) so I should have some photos up soon as well.

Well done to the Tony in the MOGROVER. Man that things rocks. Having seen skid steer in rally cars and the like, I always wondered why it was not used in 4wding. Guess we will be seeing more of it after Tony's display.

There were some spectacular rigs there, some show and shine rigs that kicked arse, some bodgy looking rigs (sorry Tony) that kicked arse and some nice looking rigs that got stuck. I feel sorry for the rollover, first run on stage two. Though it was going to be OK for keep it rubber side down for a few seconds there.

To the guys that went, hope you had as much fun as I did. I meet up with Tony and Sam O. and Sam Keck. Sorry I did not get around to see more of you, but as Team Manager for the Suzuki Club (WE CAME THIRD) I spent a lot of time organising and supervising. Sometimes you drivers and navigators and like little bloody kids. I should pin a hanky to your sleeves along with your helmet, paperwork etc.

Regards

Was an awesome weekend! Good to meet up with all the Outers crew that was there too. Saturday night was great, Hypo made a new friend from Scotland, Guts explained his rating system for chicks, There were some 'parmies' there on the weekend too.

The driving on Sunday was awesome. The hangover and the heat weren't so good. to Ruff that was an awesome drive 8mins 34sec, I think the next quickest time was 9mins.

We’re never going to hear the end of this now :x :x

We should hold a State of Origin, settle this rivalry once and for all

Seriously though, good drive Tony, sorry I couldn’t be around to catch up with you guys, had family commitments that I couldn’t shake.

Sounded like a good prelude to Tuff Truck,

Having said that, you gotta be in it to win it, so where’s your TT entry ???
