Tony and I had a good talk about jackhammer. We both agreed that without stacking and without some luck that it was NOT driveable in comp conditions as you basicly had 1 go, we also both agreed that it was driveable without any stacking if socail driving.

Now this is hard for me to say as I like to crawl things before using the go pedal, but I agree with sam that it is not driveable by crawling it. I think people have forgotten that you need momenton to drive sand and alot of jackhammer is sand where your wheels are when you need max traction. But I also dissagree with him as I don`t think it is drivable IN COMP conditions without any stacking or blokes on a strap, but I`d love to see the mog try it :D

I think it was drivable (and was gunna give it a go) but with both lockers not working from the muddy water in the compresor and the motor not revving over 2800rpm it was a bit hard. Well done Tony and team. :D

Well said Cheezy, very gentlemanly of you. I must say I am disappointed at some of the posts on this thread from people who feel they can't let someone have their moment in the sun. Well done to everyone who belted their rig up and a special well done to all the Logan Districts boys. As a former club president I'm proud as punch to see you all do well and as a mate of both Sam and Tony's I am especially pumped. QLD and the MOGROVER RULES!!!!!!!! :D :D

Mate did the gadget get along? How did ya go if ya did. Havent been on the net for a while and playing catch up ball.

This is a great complement, so I chose it out, I saw some rude ones in there. They just looked like whinging little children. Im glad you enjoyed it, the Haultech boys put a lot of time and money and effort into travelling to another state to match it with the best from NSW. If they want a truly big comp they would invite the best trucks, and when they win, they could just say, well, it was good.

I see some tall poppy action and its just really childish....

Its done, Tony drove it, nobody else did, so until next year, "suffer in your jocks," and say hi to all your mums for me!!

This is goin straight to the pool room.

How is poor old cheezy, that guy is super nice, and comes to all the events, and has had a string of bad luck since rolling at TTC. Sorry cheezy mate, I think I jinxed ya!!

Good work to everyone who showed up and competed/organised/officials/organisers etc, and good work to those who had a go and that dont mind that they didnt win. Its all about the fun, not about, what could have happened.

Wood Pecker 2004 - video sample01 is ready to be downloaded if you desire.
www.orp.com.au (You will locate this at mid level left of front page)
Don't try and stream it unless you are on ADSL etc.
Otherwise right click/save target (to desk top).
After it has downloaded than open it.
Cheers Shane
p.s approx 30Mb (shouldn't be this big, I must have formated it slightly different to normal).
I will do more soon.

Maddog,
I will sort some more samples out over the weekend, have heaps of tapes to go through. Just so happened Mogrover footage was at the end of the tapes and was easy to find.
