Be careful of the globe choice........

There are 2 diferent types of globe .......

1 has the traditional car type element ( as you see in a quarts hal globe ) in which the elements coil runs from side to side. They work fine but are more likely to blow under rough conditions.

The other has what they call a "Projector" element, In this globe the elements coil runs from the top to the bottom of the globe.
This globe is better designed for rough conditions and emmits a much longer beam of light. It is also much more effective for spotlight shooting giving a much longer range of illumination..... about an extra 400 metres of light can be seen through a scope.

Prices are the same for either globe.
