Help needed for KONI bushes (ouff!!)

Help needed for KONI bushes (ouff!!)
G'day,I need help to get some spare bushes for my KONI dampers...
They are (the dampers,ehm):
KONI 84-1125 SPF8 (rear)
and
KONI 84-1124 SPF8 (front)
(BTW the front shock is a pin/pin type, the rear is an eye/pin type mounting)
I managed to get 1 factory replacement set for the rear and I found out that a couple of bushes
were the wrong type,so I miss 1 bush yet.
About the front,they're now discontinued
and I don't have a bl@@d* clue of what the right bushes look like
I know 110 TUFF on this Forum had these dampers for a while
(pics in another thread about his 110 setup),
now if someone can help in getting size/dimensions/pics
I'd try to have some custom made...
TIA...

Er,no,they don't have to be KONI,but the issue is that KONIs have a different internal hole, which is narrower than LR ones (the rod is thinner on KONIs) and thickness vary too...
If I had the correct size I could try and ask a fabricator in Milan to have some made out of rubber (polyurethane or what?)...
Maybe I'm messing a bit...sorry...

I just replaced a front koni shock with a new item.
The bushes that came with it were hour glass shaped.
Same top and bottom.
The only differenence between old and new, was the new came with 4 washer/cups for each end, whereas, the old only had 2.
I bought some Rover ones (bushes) a couple of years ago, and they were were the same as the Koni supplied items.

do you have any pic/measurement?
BTW,what Koni damper did you fit?
Cheers
No pics no measurements. Sorry.
The one I replaced was the 84-1124.
The bottom rubber disappeared, and the shaft rubbed on the mount.
Eventually it wore through and broke.
This shock is now obsolete, and I replaced it with an 8240-1181.
It's supposedly a direct replacement, but it's a gas shock.
The mounting shafts are slightly larger diameter though.
If I new all this, I would have bought 2. At least the fronts would be the same. Now I have 3 old style and 1 new style oil/gas shock.
Actually I think I should have bought some cheaper alternatives, and have the fronts the same for the same price as one Koni.

i have these shocks and when i rebushed i used factory rover rubber.
urethane has no place on the rear of a rover, the shocks are miss-aligned enough already with their mounts. they need the give of rubber.
i seem to chew out the bottom rears quite quickly on a 110. gravel, dust, sand and mud destroy the rubber so i bought 10 sets with a set of spare washers.

Guys,thanks anyway.
I was given these Konis as a gift, and they should be 6 months old so I wanted to use them,it'd be a waste to bin them, and neither I can afford 4 new dampers (whichever the brand).
And yup,Konis is ragarded as top quality stuff but bushes suck...why on earth I have to understand...!
I talked with a guy here,he does comps and is used to these same Konis,so he make new bushes out of rubber himself,I'm waiting for a reply to confirm an order...what makes me think it's that he doesn't bother too much about diameters/thickness...!
I don't want to kill myself fitting bushes which are not up to the job,but if they're good enough to race I think they should be fine to me at least...
Anyway I'll try to borrow a dig camera and take photos to post,
just to show all the stuff to you...
Cheers now

I reckon they are more than 6 months old, as the model number is obsolete, and as you originally stated the rubbers are discontinued.

Uh,my mistake.
I meant they have been used for 6 months only, more or less.
One trip in Africa and some road use.
Scratches apart they're in good shape still.
Good for me...
Hey Drew,glad you're in,thanks for the help.
I just ordered some custom replacements from those "racing" guys, I should have them shipped in few days (...),
and I'm curious to do some comparements.
Thanks!
