This much information I have so far -

The ASCC will be held at Bluck Duck Valley 4x4 & Bike Park - Gatton for the 2005 series.

The dates may well be the 2nd weekend of March, June, September....

The entire series, or just one of the three?

Yes I am aware of the Logan night runs and have taken this into account to be fair to Logan.

BUT........what Big Red is asking - is if anyone knows of any events that might conflict with the dates we are looking at.

The 2005 ASCC series will be organised and run by a selected committee to enable Glen to get out amongst the competitors and get back into enjoying the sport that he has supported by running the ASCC for years.

All we are asking is for a response to possible dates.

YES the whole of the ASCC 2005 series will be run at Black Duck.

It's good to see the venues change. I think some people get bored with going to the same venues like cruiser park for every event!

Good to see.

I used to got to the short course at Black Duck years ago and it was awesome!

Cheers.

Not to sure if ASCC is still going ahead.

For those that are interested please contact Glen Zipf.

"Tough Trucks 4x4 club" have no relation to ASCC.

They are totally seperate idenities.

Cheers,
Nat.

Hi Nat,

Last I spoke to Glen He said about starting a club to run the ASCC, gettign the competitors to design the tracks for what they wanted and so on, I was under the impression that the Tuff Tracks Club was that club.

Especially that those involved with the club are those that competed in the ASCC.

How Do we get in touch with Glen for the ASCC.

Earlier this year it was advertised here that the ASCC would be held at Blackduck, which is also the place your club is holding its events, I am sure you can see how the impression was made, I think that maybe its needs to be clarified to all that tuff tracks club is not the from club that was mentioned by Glen at the last round at LCMP.

Time for some clarity..

Glen wanted a club set-up to run the ASCC events on his behalf. A steering committee was formed, as selected by Glen, to set-up a club and run the Brisbane based ASCC for 2005.

This steering committee decided after a short time that they did not wish to run the ASCC. I was not at this meeting, however I understand it was based on the differing viewpoints as to how the event should be run, as well as other assorted issues.

The steering committee then set out to continue forward with the intention of creating a club, and running events. As such, the Tough Tracks 4x4 Club was formed. This club now has approx 22 members and growing quickly, and has a series of events planned for next year which shall be run by the members.

The Tough Tracks 4x4 club is in no way associated with the ASCC.

Nobody I have talked to seems to know whether the ASCC will continue or not, so all enquiries for the ASCC should be directed to Glen.
