mate of mine cracked a head on his, it's still running.

but he does run more than twice the amount of turbo boost people usually run safely... so may be a problem due to modification

Mad Cruisers 1hz went up to 450,000 then blew up after dunkin it in water.

My father in law's 1hdt spun a big end bearing at 350,000

tuff80's old 75 that i towed down from gold coast for him after he bought it had 280,000 with a big end bearing failure.

big end is usually 1hd-t's. apparently toyota used cheaper bearings in the early 1hd-t's (ex toyota service mechanic i used to work for, loyal to the brand still, just let me in on the little issues)

Big end's usually go when oil pressure drop's all u need to do is put a new oil pressure relief valve they are cheap and usually bring the pressure back up.

300 k just clicked over - runs great - depends entirely on the frequency of servicing and quality of filters!!

I know of one with over a 1,000,000 on it and only had minor rebuild at 750K...

I'll let you know once I turbo and I/C it and chuck 12 psi through it for a year or two.... :D :D

Mines done 370000k's and still uses no oil and gets 7.8kml running 33's. Staeting to get a bit grumbly in 4-5 gear so a gearbox rebuild will be on the cards soon..

Mates 1HZ has done 230,000kms. Last 40,000km with 1HD-T fuel pump, turbo and cam. Smashed the cam 10,000 ago and rolled in new bearing shells at the same time. Runs variable boost....about 12-20psi depending if its competition or highway running.

Cheers
Mitch
