He is running standard boost of 7 psi and it's interesting to note that on a test hill near his home in comparison to 2 basically identical GU utes in terms of tyre sizing and gearing but differing boost levels. One has 11 psi and one is running 20 psi both non intercooled.
In speed tests up the hill, at the top of the hill my mates truck is 5 kmh faster than the 11 psi one (which has had the MTQ turbo treatment on both exhaust and compressor side). The other ute is basically a competition one but with just the boost and fuel timing changed (not a modded turbo as far as I know) is level pegging as far as speed but his exhaust temps are off the map
My mates exhaust temps are lower, the mid range power is markedly better and he just recently told me he is getting better fuel economy than he has ever had before. (12.3litres/100kms) (22.9 mpg)
The next step will be some turbo mods to see if we can get it sing even better

I don't have any pics on the scoop assembly but it is placed nearly central in the bonnet rather than off to one side like the factory one.
It has a rubber seal which seals on top of the stainless steel shroud so that all the air entering the scoop has to go through the I/cooler, it is then directed backwards and downwards to the transmission tunnel by another stainless shroud underneath the I/cooler core.
The I/cooler core I had custom made to my specs and is an extremely strong tube & fin core from Adrad industries. (they make the finest I/cooler cores I've seen)
Regards Andrew.
