Hi
Quote from another forum . Have not looked into it myself so need s a bit more looking into . Seems to imply the dissy's on the to are the same but I did not think this was the case

------------

Or you can just use a mazda distributer of a DOHC Turbo its the same as the
distrubuter suzi sport in Australia sell for both the G16A swift engine
onversion and the G13B DOHC conversion. You can get them from pick-a-
part for about $15-$20 so a cheaper alternative and saves chanaging the cam
too!

GTI Conversion

Post by bczook »

Hi have done the gti conversion in a 96 sierra with an angle drive adapter using the original distributor

i looked into the Mazda GTX 323 distributor and its not worth it as the cap and rotor are hard items to find and if you do source them you should get a few extra's the cap needs some tags shaved off the inside, and the rotor needs to be machined so it fits on the distributor.

or the third option is to box the firewall and use the original gti distributor

but the best option is the angle drive and the sierra cap and rotor are cheap and common
