Pirana do a good kit, I have a Crane system fitted, bit more expensive and more mucking around but works better at 6500rpm :-)

There's a couple of threads on it, do a search on TB42 or Electronic Ignition in the Nissan or Auto Electric section

You probably should go for the max bling coil, to make it worth the extra cost & mucking around to fit a Crane kit over the Pirana, but you can always upgrade later and tell us how much difference there is.

You mean to the big Crane Coil?

Dont bother. Find a Stock coil from a VN-VT 5ltr (Old looking Style Bosch). You will get just as much performance from this coil and have less reliability hassels. These were also fitted to early commodores with electronic Ignition.

No, not the old sqare box thing, I got a transformer type coil, the Commodore one is also good I had it on my Holden 186 Landrover
