100 Series - 35's?

Post by BUNDERA »

My father went to get some 35's BFG Mudders (315/85R16 or whatever) on Saturday for his 100 Series (no lift) ant they said that it wont fit. Is this true? If it is would a 1"/1.5" body lift fix the problem?

Personally i would have said that the tyres would have fit, as there is heaps of clearance with the stock tyres which are like 32.5"s. Anyway any help would be great.

Thanks,
Nick

100 series or 105 series?

either way, won't fit without some suspension/body lift, will rub esp at the back well before full flex, and at the front on full lock and if it has SRS airbags you will be hard pressed finding a shop that will do the body lift.

if 100 series then you can only go about 1.5" susp lift in the front without spending major dollars (in fact it can be done for free by cranking the torsion bars).

if 105 then the suspension is more or less identical to 80 series and 4 - 6" lift is pretty easy - castor correction recommended for more than 2 - 3" lift in fromt though. can get enough correction with castor bushes - available from ARB/OME, tough dog/4way, and others.
