Hey Guys,
has anyone got any suggestions on putting carpet in a 40. I want to put some heavy duty marine carpet in. I aslo want to keep the joins to a minimum. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If a 40 series Landcruiser can't get you there, it's not worth going.
Easiest way if you wanted the least joins possible would be to take all the seats etc out... get a length of carpet which is long enough for entire car.... as a broardloom meter will cover the whole width... and then just cut it in as you need it to be shaped... then put your seats back in... best to glue it down unless you will want to take it out every now and then.
that will give you no joins and a nice peice of carpet heh.

mate mine came with marine carpet in the front but only between the seats and fuel tank.
old matey just used really thin aluminium sheet and made up like a cover and marine carpeted it in black. the rear has a thick rubber mat.
