I have seen a side on shot of the green one, and the snorkel doesn;t follow the line of the car I believe.

From what I have heard, a hilux snorkel has been installed on a GV by Overkill. Care to comment on that Sam?

I couldn't be sure, never looked that closely.
But I imagine following the line of the car is probably important, because if it didn't the door would hit it, or open bonnet would hit it, too.
I haven't heard of this happening, yet, but will ask around and look more closely.
I personally would get exactly the shape you want from an exhaust shop made snorkle.
I will try to find a more side on set of pix.

Sorry, that is the one I have seen, not the green one.

Just doesn't look like it follows the line of the car correctly. Apparently the V6 Hilux snorkel from TJM follows the lines a lot better.

Its not made for the gv, if you have abs you can't fit it. one of the guys up here fitting the hilux one, much better fit and you can fit it on a car with abs

There is a small problem on Right Hand Drive vehicles as the antenna on LHD GVs is on the LHS and on RHDs is on the RHS. The snorkel covers the area where the antenna comes out - so you might need to put an electronic antenna. however they know there is a problem and they might adjust the mould for you this time round.

There is another small problem when you install the inner wing part you have to hammer the 'top hat' bracket for the old air intake flat to allow the wing to fit back on (really easy but worth knowing and feels a bit brutal but will straighten out if you ever wanted to go back for any reason) The hole in the wing is 76mm and needs a hole saw which is hard to find - most are course toothed. Finally you drill 2 3mm holes in the roof panel to hold the the snorkel in position.[/img]
