well im planing on using the ute roof and chopping the body off behind it then building up a flat tray for the back

if i have to ill move the rear section of the rollcage back and then replace the cross bars that go too the front section just gonna run them through the rear of the ute roof just hope they go through metal not glass so its easy to do

you should be able to see what height they are to where they go through roof as the height of your roof where it bolts to the sides is the same height as on a ute i think you will find the main hoop will be almost exactly where the rear of a ute cab will line up ill be interested to see how close it acturaly is . You will need to be carful having the cage mounted to body in front and ridgid to chassie/tray in rear you will end up taring the body to bits i would look at moving it forward a little if needed and shortening the top bars and put a seperate 4 point roll bar on tray with a x brace if that makes sence and is an option

bj if i dont end up using it it will be sold for what i brought it for i recon it will take tless than 48 hours to find a buyer for it

yes running it through the body is a risk but i plan on making the openings larger and running a rubber boot around them so that the body can twist around it i really dont think the body will flex that much will it ??

will see what happens once the roof arrives :)
