Chasis Panard Bracket strengthening.

Post by ludacris »

Ok for those serious hardcorers. I have just heard from someone travelling at a hundred Km's an hour down the freeway when his panard bracket snapped  from the chasis. Here is how mine was custom strengthened to prevent it from giving way after mistreatment. :D

My GQ has a stiffening bracket that was apparently a factory add on to cure this problem. Safari's by the looks of it, dont have this bracket fitted

There are the later models that came out with the stiffening bracket but I wanted to make sure that mine will handle the abuse. A bit overkill but I am satisfied that mine will do the job.
