Do nothing until you fit the 35's and see how good/bad it is...
Then go from there. The tires will probably change the RPM by about nearly ~900-1000rpm as they stand. workin on its usually 300rpm per ratio change on a diesel...
but i found that the higher revs i.e. 2400 it makes it better to overtake as well which i feel is much better.
also i find that i'am getting better economy as well on mine now that i have the 4.6.

I run 35's and have 3.9's and it runs fine.there is nothing that my gearing wont get me up. No stalling and so on. It is not for rock crawling so having a good long gear helps me get up anything in my way. It is a petrol 4.2 so you should not have any problems with your 4.1's.

~~~~~ 4.1 - 29 4.3 - 31 4.6 - 33 4.88 - 35
Yeah I will be trying it out with the 4.1s and 35s first and go from there. Just wanted some opinions.
On my thread about Ideal touring tyre/ lift sizes "QUICK60" stated his diesel cruiser on 35's with turbo runs 4.1's and gets good fuel ecconomy when touring and he is a further 8% overdriven with the transfer gears, so I am going to wait as well till I fit the 35's and go for a long drive to make me mind up, but I voted 4.1
Thankful to be able to use the tracks that are left....SHEET where are they........
I have done up (modifed a yank chart) a rpm table to work out ideal rpm for given situations. Change the items in blue to what you have/want. I found out what the standard runs and tried different combos until I got close.
