Well i guess it depoends on how long you will be there for. Usually fill up at Kilcoy, play for the weekend, fill up on the way back at Kilcoy.

Depends how long you go for and how thirsty your Mav is. I have a 95 L deisel Disco and I filled up just north of Brisbane, spent 2 full days there and made it back to the Gold Coast on the same tank. From memory there is about 200klms of track throughout the park and I reckon you would be hard pushed to do all that in 2 days.....although that again depends on how gun ho you and your rig are!!
Hope this helps.

I take a jerry with me every trip as you never know when you are going to damage your fuel tank or lines and lose your tank of fuel.
