extended shackles
extended shackles
hey crew
can you all advise me on extended shackles, what should i look out for etc as far as lifting goes etc
if i was to get a 2" sus lift with extended shackles of 2" that would make it 4" right?
how hard are they to fit, and where are good places to get them

nothing better then a staghound stretching it out in full flight
a 2 inch shacfle extension, will give u 1 inch of lift, because u are only lifting one end of the spring.
extending shackles does more for travel than lift, and if u give it too much shackle length, it will mess up your caster and pinion angles.

or make em yourself, out of plate or u section, replace the bolts with grade 8's and use nylocks so u can back the tension off to help stop the susspension binding.
