Error codes 13 and 43 on a Holden VN motor

Post by brett43au »

I have a VN motor in a Rodeo \ and am getting error code 13 Oxygen sensor error and 43 Knocking sensor error. I can find the Oxygen sensor but dont know were to look for the Knock sensor. The motor runs fine and has plenty of power dosent ping but the error codes always come back.
If any one knows were the Knocking sensor is that would be a help and if any one knows how to test these sensors it would be apreciated ( I have a good quality digital multimeter ) .
Thanks in advance

The knock sensor should be on the side of the block. If it dosn't have a knock sensor just put the right size resistor in the wire for the knock sensor.

It's very common for the 3.8's to have 02 sensor codes, it just need to be replaced :)

the knock sensor is located down by the oil filter, if your running a lumpy cam and roller rockers get it switched off in the program or you'll only be running in limp mode.
