brake proportioning valve

Ive been told by a friend that my car brakes too much from the rear and there's not enough bite from the front. Ive been told to check and adjust the BPV. Any idea how to on a Sierra?

Don't recall there being one.....

Hence the pain with setting up discs on the rear...

Front and back run from seperate reservoirs i think....

Have a search for the thread Disc Brake conversion that I started it have details on how to fix the problem.
