Tube front bar designs

Post by -Richo- »

I did a search but most of the pics arent working. I am planning on getting a tube bar made up for my lux in the near future, just wanted to see some peoples custom jobs to get some ideas. Saw Zoltons build up which looks great but id like to get some more ideas.

Heres my truck with a quick design i knocked up to see what i am after, i wouldnt mind setting it up for a winch though. Super oscars will be going on top of the bar too.

And another nice lux with a good looking bar on it i found on here

Any ideas appreciated!!

I really like Robbo's. It has a bit more protection for your cibie super oscars & has a mounting for a winch.

Slight Hijack On

Does anyone know the legalities of fitting a custom bar like this to an airbag equipped vehicle. Don't really want to fork out for an arb as it decreases approach angle on my particular vehicle and doesn't look all that flash.

Slight Hijack Off

As for ideas I like the one in the image attached.

Keep em coming, lots of nice bars there :D

P.S. Dont know about your airbag issue mate, but i do know on my TJM bar i had it said it was not suitable for airbagged cars, maybe you need to rig them up with some sensors or something like that, would be best to talk to TJM or ARB or someone who makes bullbars.

Dont know about airbag legalitys but you will have trouble getting a bar that sits foward at the top (stinger bar) legal.

Buy the ARB bar and modify the wings etc. Seen that done on Disco web somewhere.
