Poly Airs on lifted GU ?

Post by GUEEY »

I have 3 inch Dobbinson XXHD springs in my GU Wagon !
Is there a Poly Air Bag style badder available for taller springs than standard.
I am very happy with my lift and spring performance when the truck is on day trips or i am flying solo, buy when i have the Family Pack on board and more weight i am losing precious ride height.

I have poly airs in mine and on the rear they are great. I have very soft springs and they hold up the truck well when I have a load on board when camping etc.

I am unsure of who to ring I am sorry but I know they are poly air brand.

Oh and the truck is about 5-6" lifted so I am sure there will be something available for you.

cheers

Yep, can do. I have the same setup with the same springs.

You should be able to buy them to suit your ride height. Try the polyair website. I think they supply bigger rubber blocks which fit above the bag.

I actually used landcruiser polyairs and they said I can buy rubber blocks from them to suit the height. I actually made my own.

Make sure you secure the air line to the bag properly as they tend to come loose and air leaks out. I glued the line and no more leaks. Did a trip with them to Cape York fully loaded, a roof top tent, and trailer.....no probs............

They work really well.

Good Luck
Cheers.......4by.
