is mk swb back seat different to mq swb
Ah
Not all Mk's had the rear seat that goes across the arches... they all bolt up the same on floor pan, just the wide rear seat needs brackets on the side to hold seat where the seat between the arches fits and sits up with no further brackets etc....
I got so much bracing on my roll bar that I can't have any back seats because I don't like opening rear window to let people get into rear seat.
Even if your patrol didn't come with back seat it would have holes there they just have a bung in em. Nissan built the bodies the same but for things like rear seat or wheel carrier they had dents where holes should go it was jsut a case of options and extras...

MQ seats will bolt straight in to the back of MK...
But regardles of 5 seat or 4 seat, the floor brackets themselves are different.
there are 2 different sets of brackets...
i know this cause i tried to put a MK 3 seater rear in my MQ 2 seater and had to change the brackets as well......
the brackets bolt in the same places, just have different seat mounts on top so its just abit of extra work to change the brackets ova too.
u will need to ppl as the bolts for the seat brackets have nuts on other side than spin

screwy
