I have a 3 inch lift 4 door Rangie. I want to put 33inch by 12.5inch by 15inch Mud Tyres on it most probably Mickey Thompson Radials. And I am wondering what offset I should get the rims at for a happy medium??
It looks pretty definate I will have to trim the front guards, do you think I will get away with the rear?
Also where would I find these Rims at a reasonable price??
Thanks..

get 15x8 with 100mm offset
In regards to the trimming - depends on your lift.... you say you have 3" total is this any body lift or all spring lift ? ? ?
If you have a body lift you will get away without triming the guards but I sugest you get the grinder out and remove the ends of the bolts that protude into the top of your front wheel wells, and also remove the bolt that sits behing the lip in the centre of your rear arches (where the door ends) its safe to be removed otherwise it may stab into your sidewall under heavy articulation
If you have no body lift you will need to trim the guards but only very minimal

Thanks guys, sounds like 100mm offset is the go. The 3 inch is spring lift only.
David do you have 11.5 by 33 inch tyres and do you have any leads on where to find these rims at a reasonable price?? . What kind of flares do you prefer?? Thanks again from Shane

I have 35x10.5x16 so they fit well on 16x7 rims.
I'm sure there would be plenty of 33's that would fit on 7inch rims.
Eastern Wheel Works made my wheels, they're located down towards Phillip Island somewhere.
They're good value, and very strong, but usually take a few weeks to get made.
I've used the rubber flare kits from TJM which screw in from the side.

Anyone else agrees or disagrees or just have something different that works, Thanks
