GQ body mounts - 3 different types?

Post by Mark2 »

I removed my wagon body today (ute cab is going to replace it).

Noticed there are three different versions the of body mounts, and the height varies between the types by up to about 8mm. They're all similar but there is definitly differences in the way they are made. The shortest ones were at the front under the radiator.

Is this normal? Could it be that Nissan changed them over the years and some have been replaced? (its a 1990 model)

For those who've replaced theirs, did you just get the one type?

Failing an answer from someone else, can you put the body on a flat surface (concrete) and see if there is any difference?

The GQ body blocks are all the same height from memory.
