What size trolly jack should I have for an 80 series Landcruiser.
Where is the best place to purchase and bout how much?

I use an armstrong 2tonne one that I got from Trade tools for $150
works like a champ and is strong and safe

Their's is crap compared the the one you will get from trade tools

Looks like the price has gone up ( I got mine 3 years ago) $169 now

Just don't get a cheap, low rated one.
I've got a 1500kg one that won't lift the front end of the Disco!
It was Supercheap though, and i think it may have even be recalled!

There was a version of their larger trolley jack that had been recalled but IIRC it was the 2 tonne version - see http://www.recalls.gov.au/ which was in 2003 and there were some posts about that on here from bogged.

Have a search - the armstrong can pick up the front of the rangie no worries and the 1500Kg little one I have from supercheap can pick up a corner and that is about it
