HF Radio frequencys

i recently bought a codan radio and was given a list of frequencies that had been programmed into it does anyone know where i can find out what these frequencies relate to.

Besides the many rfds frequencies the popular ones are:

VKS737 4wd:
3995
5455
8022
11612
14977

Radtel:
5105
6910
8610
11487
11487
11662
5744
8083
12211
15986
16104

There are also, bush telephone etc.

Some can also be programed for 27 MHz cb at reduced power and ham bands.

Also recieve only on radio australia, bbc radio etc.

Note you have to be licenced to transmit on any hf frequency (except cb) unless it is life saving emergency.

Is it free to transmit besides the license or does it cost money like Satphones?

How much did the radio cost.
How big are hf radios for 4wd's
Iv'e only used them on racing yaughts and the freeking huge.

There quite small. I have used ones that are about twice the size of the old mobil SSB CBs (about 35cmx30cmx7.5cm
