leaf spring / polyurethane bush question

Just picked up some Dobinson leaf springs for the 4WD today with polyurethane bushes.

I've got six sets of the bushes, but only four have got the inner metal crush tube? The fronts are easy to pick out as they're a bigger bush (and have the crush tube). My guess is the rear spring eye -> shackle bush is the one that doesn't have the metal tube; and the shackle -> chassis bush is the one that has the metal crush tube? It's hard to tell as they're virtually the same size?

Also, what sort of grease should be used on the bushes? Is lithium based stuff like is recommended for the chassis grease points OK?

I know that ARB sell a specifc grease that is poly safe ..

I think prety much any sort of grease is fine for poly .
I would go with rubber bushes over poly though.
Poly is too stiff. I would rather have comfort and flex over long bush life.

I use rubber with greasable shackles and pump them full of "rubber grease" seams to work well. I will just have to throw new bushs in every couple of years.

I just put new poly bushes in after running rubber ones in the front of my lux, but the rubber ones were completely rooted after 12ish months, maybe cause of my lack of maintainence, but don't notice a great deal of difference with the ride on the new ones either...
