Hey Trendsetters, can anyone advise me if it's worth putting aircon into a soft top 40? I have soft side windows that velcro down and seal OK, but it's by no means airtight!
I live in Katherine NT and it gets cookin hot up here.
Has anyone aircon'd a soft top with success? Or am I wasting my time/money/effort?
Thanks

MORE POWER, ARRG ARRG ARRG!
Mine had air conditioning in it when I first bought but I Never really used it much not that we get much chance down in mexico, mine was a hard top though at first. After about 2 years I removed it mainly cause of the big air vent thingy under the passenger dash which my wife hurt hear knees on when I ran up the ar$e of an XF. (XF write off, BJ scratched bullbar)

Sorry to hijack your thread bambam
but where would one buy an aircon system for a 40 (I have a bj42) and how much would you be looking at spending?
I rekon aircon would be great in hot weather, it might not stay cold in a softtop, but instant relief sounds good to me!
cheers
