Is your Zook regoed with 2 seats or 4?

Post by jabtronic »

How many of you have 4 seater zooks that are registered as 2 seaters?

Took my car in for a RWC as I need to transfer the rego, and the guy said he's going to need to put in a mod plate because it has the seating capacity of 4 but is registered as 2.

I thought this was rather odd, the previous owner has kept the previous RWC sheets (about 7 of them, all from different places too) and nothing was mentioned about the seats... I thought it was normal for the zook to be registered as a 2 seater because mine was stock and like that.

I'll be taking the rear seats out for the RWC anyway but was wondering what's the go with everybody elses rigs?

very grey area the old suzi's... especially the softies!

when i first applied for insurance, it was registered as:
4wd, utility, sports car, softtop.

utility cos the back is classed as a tray, sports car cos its a softtop, and i spose sofftop is on there cos its easier to break into etc... lol

as for seats in or not in - i can see it making a difference with them out - cos when i took mine out the rear end did bounce alot more over speed bumps etc due to reduced weight. but if the zuk comes with 4 seats, then its a 4 seater and should registered as one.

My maruti was registered as a 3 seater. It had 2 bucket seats in the front, and a steel tray on the back :?

Mines a 4 on the plate, and had to get a new seat belt for RWC.

But the seat is now out of the car.
