TOYUKI

Post by dtzook »

The plan

Front end - Toy front, with hi pinion 4.1 A/locker, daihatsu springs 46" with 6" chassis extension and S/R, 60's p/s box and pump and cross over steer.

Rear end - Toy rear 4.1 air locker, hilux fronts and trac bar, DC drive shaft

tyres - 33" MTRS maybe 35's

Others - transfer case bucket, and strengthened T/C mounts
looking for about 90" WB

Update

Post by dtzook »

not much progress, just the extension is all tacked up ready to be welded and just waiting for abit more dough for the Air lockers. heres a pic of the genuine rear CW+P, to match the front hi pinion.

im running feroza rears, with a SR, but its the way i did the chassis extension i should of followed the profile of it instead of leveling it off! But you learn with experience :)

can someone elaborate on this? im soon to do hilux fronts all round (pending paperwork from the govt. for permits) - and we will be looking at extending chassis very slightly... (ie, spring perch will shoot outwards from chassis rather than down, but not 100% sure on how or if its do-able)
