From what I can tell it's for coil overs frount and normal coils on the rear. cost is USD$4000 (A$5200) and you still have to get it over here. their is a cheeper kit too. but for that money I won't be getting one as I have other plans

$650 is for one axle. The control arm tubing we use is 1 1/2 od 3/4 id but it is not included in the basic kit. The pic Andre posted is the complete kit, requiring no extra parts and minimal welding. Either kit is fully adjustable for wheelbase from stock to ?. (We've done 114") We have kits in stock and ready to ship, with the exception of the axle truss, which is build to order for most any axle.

The basic kit includes



4 lower axle link brackets

4 upper axle link brackets

2 lower frame link brackets

2 upper frame link brackets

bolt and hardware kit

4 7/8 X 3/4 heim joints

4 inserts

4 1 1/2" bushing link ends

6 limiting strap ends and strap

axle truss (built for any axle)

full instructions

control arm tubing can be added and sold to you at our cost and we will weld on the bushings sleeves at no extra cost. (although the kit is more to ship in this form)

why do they give the price for 1 axle??
at $650US sosay $1000, it was worth saving for....

Now it is $2000, im not so keen..... im too poor damnit!!!!!

HOwsabout, we buy UZJ40 a carton of piss and photocopy the instructions and take an inventory on whats in the kit.
Then.... we go find a friendly metal shop and say make X amount of these kits?
it would have to come in at under 2K???

i'm with you rock god.lets copy the plans, then fabricate it ourselves here in oz..... it's got to be worth it. i'm willing to cough up the dough....

I got the kit some time back, for the rear only

joints, bushs, brackets, straps and all hardware, and pretty good instuctions.

i got Matt at M&M to make me up the arms, to my specified length, and then i put it all together, all very striaght forward.
The Proffit design uses equal lenght arms, a bit diiferent to most setups.

the truck is now over at M & Ms where Matt is doing the 5 link front for me.

he checked out the rear, changed the postion i had the lower arms on the diff. He tested the articulation and reckons it is very good and the truck should work really well.

i am using Fox air shocks on mine, so i dont need any springs. Proffitts sell the brackets for either coils or airbags.

i dont mind sending copys of the instuctions if anyone wants them, it would be real easy to make up the brackets.
was actually thinking about doing a kit myself, just want to get the truck on the road and make sure it all works ok first.

i drink just about any type of beer.

very impressed with the generosity.
i think a few of us other boys should get together see what its going to cost to make our own kits.

then buy a couple of cartons for UZJ40 between us and get stuck into it.
see if between us we know a fab shop that would be keen on making us up some parts etc....

nice truck uzj40, gonna be rockin when it's done. how can i contact the guys at m&m? i'm keen to find out how much converting to coils is. i can't weld so all the fabing would have to be done for me. how much roughly has it set u back? if u don't mind me asking?
