Finally Modded Defender Trailing arms

Post by aloa9061 »

Hey Guys,
Sorry it took so long but had some minor production delays.

Basically if anyone knows the defender trailing arms they know they will bend on sight especially with difflocks and/or big tires. They are pretty puny when compared to say a patrol and as some of you have seen on slunnies 4wdlinks site I did an awsome job of "modifying" mine into a U.

Long story short I have had some custom ones made by fernando at 3rds Automotive and they look awesome. These are much bigger than standard and Big balls offroad has been selling the ones for the patrols and cruisers for a while and they have had great reports.

As a result of me being a guineee pig anyone who wants some can get them through me for $350 or around $400 retail from Fernando.

They look nice and massive, well done.
Just out of curiosity,do you think "bented" ones for lifted Rovers will follow as well?

Cheers!

 there not that nice and the welds are very sh*t :D
there also not as strong as the 3rds units you have, but i beleive there strong enough.

I was trying to obtain sum standard rear links to sleeve in the exact same manner and sell to people for say $150 a pair (without bushes).
Just so that the less fortunate fellas running larger rubber that cant afford the big $$$ can have abit more strength.... but i have been struggling to find any standard rears for sale :?
