Started working on my newly aquired Bundera on Monday...

So now we are to clean and strip the chassis, give it a lick of paint and at the same time looking at replacing the rear drum setup to disc brakes.
Am I right in saying the Bundera uses Hilux diffs/axles etc. So would it be possible the replace it with a Hilux rear disc ass?

The Bundy is very very very similar to a Hilux rear axle set up. I have done a few disc rear ends for Bundies a few years ago and the same conversion was used but from memory the wheel mounting flange is thinner on a Bundy compared to a Hilux so you need to space the wheel studs so the wheel nut dont run out of thread. :!:

Be even more jealous, the shed is twice as wide as what you can see. The Bundera is pretty much in the middle of it. :P

I wrote "STUD" spacer's so you don't run out of thread when tightening the wheel nuts. The studspacers go between the head of the wheel stud and the axle wheel flange.
