iam thinking off puting then in the rear of my lux and just wanting to no, for the people that have then are they happy with then and how they go on the road and etc
and iam talking about micks at superior engineerings

A mate of mine has them and he loves them, gets big flex but he had to get longer shocks and extended brake lines to make sure its ok

yep longer shocks and extenard brake lines

adjustable torque rod helps with travel if your doing the front as well

yeah iam geting mick to do so it all done right i have to get custom spring made up 120mm longer and get a frame rear ect list goes on .
mick sad after he is finshed i should be able to get my tire onto 44 galon dum with out lifting a rear wheel

yeah mate, what mick says is about right had a lot of work done by him, good bloke and knows what he is talking about with hiluxs, mine sits ona 44 without drop shackles, make sure u keep us posted on what they are like, like if they pop ou under pre load :armsup:

eliteforce32 iam interested to now what you have and how high you sit and how much it cost cause iam looking at about $5000 for my kit that is with x over steering puting rears springs up the front, drop shackles in the rear, geting the front diff moved and is only going to sit just a bit over 3 inch

yeah mate thats about right, but always talk him of course :armsup: i have done most of the work for my self, as in fitting of products and basic welding, the list of things over time that i have done through micka is as follows, shock hoops, dropped front cross member, re-welded my complete front chassis rail back on after coming quite a bad gutser :twisted: , cut and re-welded my steering shaft, that included sheathing it, usual other crap, dropped steering arm rock rod, exteneded shackles all round, and numerous advise on how todo mods the easy way people done think of. shit was there any full stop in that :D


mine would have about 4 inches of lift, and its too high, i have done my own springs, shocks, gearbox/driveline repairs mods, so i can't realy tell u much, but if u ask micka about me, the fat redhead :armsup: hell no which one ur talking about :twisted: mate welcome to the world of a hilux, as i have just blown a starter and an alternator so time to get dirty in the shed

mate i think i have seen you there, mick has put a air locker in my truck and ive brought other thing off him to.
so ive been there a few times ,do you have a single cab, tray back, white, and a few stickers on it

yeah mate now has tube tray :armsup: and now with not a lot of stickers as i got done by DOT, did i mention they suck PeePee ;) , have you thought about Qld with these shackles? and the other work u are contemplating doing? just in the future, and i don't gove a rats, u will be a traget for the boys in purple :?

yeah i have thought about the boys in blue and i had talk to mick about it he is going to kept it has low as he can and still with good flexs and i only run 31s around town then put the 33 on when i go off road just so dont stand out to much

iam runing jungle trekers so after awile the noies gets to me ,and the power it takes out of my lux is another good reason to take then off and i have all ready been done for speeding.
Plus it doesnt take long to change over :D :D
