i seen one on ebay about a year ago - i don't know if the factory made them - heard of some being imported and modified straight away from brand new. This one was a 1971 model, extended chassis, four doors.
they came straight from factory like that ill get pic soon umm yeh onli imported to australia for the mine bak in the 80's, not many of them were built. dads has a dualcab fj45 but its custom built and alot different to the ones that were built in factory

That's a nice ute there. I've seen a few dual cabs around, a lot have the same doors for the back doors as the front, there's also the version with no rear doors, you can get the whole body kit in fibreglass, thinkin of doin that to my spare 45............once I get the funds.
The only factory ones that I know of were sold as kits in Polynesia. It was up to the owner to install it.
Toyota wiped it from their parts inventory.
Ill provide the link when I can find it
A company called Arkana,in Perth converted about 400 45 series mainly for mining and rail maintenance.
They also built their own troopy and fitted it to a 45 chassis.
Still see 2-3 a week for sale in Perth but its hard to find nice ones .
I think they went bust about 97,but there are companies still converting the 75 series here and Melboune and Brisbane.
Someone sent me a photo of a rare 75 series dual cab fire engine used in Japan.
Upon closer inspection the doors appear to be the same as the aussie made rear doors,so its possible they actually imported them from oz to do their conversions in Japan
