80S sway bar dissconnects, pics now
has anyone used swaybar dissconects on an 80 series, the ones i've seen pics of on other vehicles have a removable pin on the locating rod but this would allow the swaybar to nearly drag on the ground. Was thinking of removing the nut on the bolt that holds the swaybar to the front diff drilling through the bolt and fitting a pin to hold it in then make a bracket to secure it to the chassis when off road . But can't do that with the rear. Any ideas , and no I can't just remove the swaybars, tried that and it handled like poo

I am making a similiar pin for the front swaybar so it can be fixed to the chassi when I dont need it. I've been driving around with no rear swaybar for 2 years now, I dont think the handling is to bad. But I have been thinking about refitting it and just disconnecting one side, not sure how this will affect wheel travel though.
