just wish it could be like that over here.

some of the guys have full custom, strengthened and widened front ends, which are mostly still IFS! some have the SAS conversion, but they are just as good to look at.

i know exactly what you are talking about! thats number one on my dreams list, i just wish i could get one done where i am.

its Leigh's custom 8" BL, and how he describes it, a lot of cutting and welding. i dont have exact details, as its almost a top secret thing, but it also includes an engine lift too, so its back to standard height in the engine bay.

they are running 35"x15.5" swampers, mmmmmm, *drool*

here is the site: www.raging-rhinos.co.uk

check out the pics section, there are a few with the 8" chassis lift.

NOPE.

its a BL, and thats all it is. all suspension geometry front and back is still factory specs. (EDIT: or unless yopu have lifted coils or a calmini kit installed)

so nothing changes. if you look at a vit with a 3" BL, you will clearly see the chassis rail underneath. this is what it eliminates. the 2 chassis rails that vit owners use as secondary, or should i say, primary rock sliders.

so in essence, its like a lifted hilux with no BL. no chassis rails to get in the way, or hinder ramp over angle, and its not like the SWB vits suffer anyway.
