Which Petrol motor was in the 1988 75 series

As the subject line says which engine (petrol) was fitted to the 1988 75 series Landcrusiers.
Would any or all the later petrols fit this bellhousing etc

AFAIK it was the 3F.
Luv the sound of a diesel,
especially a Chev 6.2!
Its GONE.........Replaced by a qik HDJ105.

The mighty mighty 3F. People bag 'em but I reckon they're a pretty good motor. Mate has one in a hj 47 ute at it goes good. :cool:

The F, the 2F and the 3FE will also bolt on the bellhousing. The 1FZFE will not.
