Does anyone know what the ohms range of a sender unit or gauge for a 85 Rangie is ?

Ok, i just found out the the fuel gauge is 240 ohms empty and 20 ohms full and VDO do a universal sender unit in this range # 220 005, that can be fitted to auxillary tanks and hook up to the original gauge. So now i can know if i am running on fumes or not when on petrol !
